Subject: From: Date: | Telephone Question J Gary Mull Mon, 23 Aug 1999 23:55:24 -0400 |
I have a unique type of line, with Answer Transfer. It is a little
different than three way calling in that it allows me to transfer a caller
to another outside line.
If you wish to transfer the caller, you simply press flash and dial the
number and hangup.
I am trying to duplicate what I was doing with the BigMouth Card with the
zoom modem and have not managed to duplicate what I was doing with BigMouth.
For instance I had phone box 5 set to transfer the call to my pager with a
flash hook wait, dial 0, wait and then dial my pager number and hangup.
Can one first do a flash hook, then dial a number using the ATDT type
string? I have tried various ways to do this, but did not succeed. I can
do this manually with my PBX. I answer the call, press flash hook, wait a
moment, dial 0 to receive a new dial tone on my main number, then dial the
new number and hang up.
I had other non published mail boxes setup to dial other numbers such as my
Mom Long Distance. I got a better rate if I was on my cell phone, called
the house to a private mail box and then was transferred long distance to
my mom etc.
