Re: [ECS] Telephone Question

Hi Gang,

Per my post yesterday I still have not yet figured out how I might transfer
a call. It is often the little things that I find the most difficult to
see and do.

My Bell South phone has answer transfer. You can Flash get a new dial
tone, dial a number hangup and the call is transferred to the number you
dialed.

I was doing this in ECS DOS with the BigMouth card using a Phone-Box Item.
If some one during the initial answer message pressed 5, ECS would then
initiate the dial-string in phone box5 and transfer the call to my pager,
another number would transfer the caller to my cell phone, etc....

My question is, does the current Phone-Box Item support this in the Windows
version. The dial string is there but is anyone doing anything with a
phone-box item like me. I have set up the dial-string the same as I had in
DOS, with the exception of a "," for "W" (wait) and "!" for "F" (flash).

Here is what I have setup that is not working for me.

Item: Phone Box5
Type: Phone-Box
Initial State: (none)
Message Item:
Box Number: 5
Dial-String ATDT!,,,0,,,404-871-7804 X

Instead of transferring the call, ECS begins to record. ??????

ECS is an extension on the PBX, so I have to flash, wait till I receive a
dial tone, then press zero to get to the party.

"!" is a FLASH COMMAND
"," is a 1 second wait

I have tried various other dial-stings but I have not landed on one that
works, any ideas
