     Like you, I also would also like to find a source for a 3 or more port
serial card that uses a single IRQ. I assume the quad you are currently using
is from Applied Digital? According to their WEB site, they only show a dual
that is still available. They must have stopped production on the quad.
However, I have not talked with them directly. It also seems to me that Boca
Research also made a quad or greater serial port card, but their WEB site
lists nothing.
     Since the dual PCI serial card I had mentioned is available from one of
the local computer stores (hopefully they still have one) I can give it a try
and return it it doesn't work out.
     Could I ask you another question? Does the Windows device manager list
your quad communication ports and show each using a single interrupt?
