It is free remote software ( like PC Anywhere).  I don't use it all the time
since my home server is not 24/7 on the net.  I have controlled my house via
ACE  across the net using my WinCE H/PC.  I normally use it from upstairs to
the basement to make changes to ACE or Homevision.  Works great and the
price is right.
