Since I have never used PC anywhere I cannot compare.  On my 100MB Ethernet
network it is very quick.  Pressing a button on the ACE touchscreen almost
instantly turns on the light.  Across the net the light turns on very
quickly but it takes a little time to redraw the screen.  Again it is more a
question of bandwidth then anything else.


One other thing,  if you use the computers name it takes a while to resolve
it.  If you put in the IP address it is almost instant access.
