Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] REAL IR blaster ? joerut.epix.net Thu, 02 Sep 1999 19:04:56 -0400 |
It seems it should be easy to build such a device. I am not familiar
with the HV or CPU-XA (I have 2 IR Master 100's) I would think if there
is an IR output from these devices a simple transistor amplifier with
some good high output IR LED's would do the job. I built an external
emmitter for my IR Master 100 and I am sending that signal about 30 feet
to my AV equipment with no problems. I took the liberty to reverse
engineer the dancraft IR Master 100 (He would not provide a drawing and
he removes the chip #'s from the IC circuits.) I now have a complete
circuit drawing along with a copy of the program from the
Microcontroller chip. If you would like a drawing of his output circuit
I could provide it.
