Mark,
Actually, what I'm looking for is not a way to ignore garbage characters,
but rather, a way to pick up the proper channel assignment for standard,
off-the-air, TV listings.
I can customize EXCITE on a web page, to properly display channel
assignments, and since this listing stuff comes from excite, there should be
some way to do it via the downloaded listing, too.. but so far, I'm
stumped.. (not too hard to do that to me lately, though! )...... Problem is
with "cookies" that web browser utilizes, while WPDL doesn't (I guess)..
