Hi Scott!
I just figured out the COMSPEC error thing!
I'll bet you are starting ECS from the shortcut under
Start->Programs->Omnipotence - Yes?
Try opening up a command.com window in the ECS directory, and start ECS from
the command-line. All should be fine then.

mark - after installing the new beta, light/b items that use the "lamp" icon
in the groups views display a "?" when set to 100%.
also - i still get an error when setting a text type to execute/nw or
execute/nw/nd. execute or execute/nw work fine... the error is:
ERROR: No Such file or directory (COMSPEC undefined or invalid)
