Well, those enhancements took MUCH less time than I envisioned :-),
and so I'm now uploading ECS 4.1.010

All will be ready for download in a few minutes.
ECSB.ZIP has been deleted (obsolete).

   112)	A new Type (CHARACTER) is now supported, and is very handy for
	reading characters from text files.

   113)	Enhanced EXAMPLE.CFG via use of the CHARACTER Item.
