RE: [ECS] MouseRemote ?

Yes, I have one, and don't think very much of it. When it works, it's pretty
neat.

There's a little junction box/RF receiver that has a pigtail that goes into
the serial port and has another port on it where you plug your regular mouse
in. That way, you're able to use the remote out near your TV, and a regular
mouse at the PC. The trouble is, after a day of sitting around, the mouse
remote has no affect on moving the cursor. I have to go over the computer,
wiggle the real mouse for half a sec, then the RF remote mouse works again.
Kind of a pain in the butt. Oh, sometimes the real mouse has erratic
movements on the screen and you have to reboot the computer. I've
disconnected it for now.

I've read on comp.home.automation of others experiencing this. A co-worker
says his works fine, even when not being used for days at a time. Your
mileage may vary.
