While attempting to delete an item (Relay-G), I got the message:

    ERROR:Value 306 is not a valid selection

After that, any item or event changes I tried to save resulted in the same
message.  Only by restarting ECS could I resume editing without problems.  I
am able to rename this item.  However, whenever I try to remove this item, I
get the same message.  This relay is not referenced in any of my events, I
just defined it to verify proper operation of my TC+ relays.

I have been getting this message occasionally in the past, but don't
remember if it was while trying to remove this same item.  I think that the
"Value" has been different at times (possibly 554?), but the message and
subsequent problems were basically the same.

Any idea what is causing this problem?
