Telephone Question
J Gary Mull
Thu, 23 Sep 1999 23:13:13 -0400

Is anyone using a phone-box type item with a dial string so one can
transfer a call outside or to a extension on a PBX.

I have tried every variation I can imagine and ECS always starts out as if
it is going to initiate the dial string by TTS saying, "You call is being
transferred," however, it immediately begins to record instead and a error
code is always posted in a messages. I am using the ECS version as of last
Saturday morning 9/18/99. As I recall Peter or someone else use to do lots
of telephone stuff.......

     Cheers,

          Gary

If some one during the initial answer message pressed 5, ECS would then
initiate the dial-string in phone box5 and transfer the call to my pager,
another number would transfer the caller to my cell phone, etc....

Windows version. The dial string is there but is anyone doing anything
with a phone-box item like me. I have set up the dial-string the same as I
had in DOS, with the exception of a "," for "W" (wait) and "!" for "F"
(flash).
