Yes.

Easiest: if the NT box is a domain server, make the 98 member of that
domain. This requires NT Server, so I assume you don't have that.

Otherwise, create an account with your desired user name and password on
the NT machine (or just use the one you use to log in anyway). Log on to
the 98 machine with that same user name and password.

You can then connect to the NT machine without logging in again, and you
can automatically do that by connecting any network drive (in Explorer,
select "Tools") and selecting "reconnect at logon".
