Kevin,
Please be very careful with your terms.
I assume that we are saying that the TEXT associated
with the Text Item is being changed (versus the STATE
of the Item, which should always revert to IDLE).
I tried this a few times, but can't re-create the problem.
Be SURE that you don't have any Event that might change
the Item's text (via a SET, T1<-T1, etc).
