Subject: From: Date: | Virtual Weather Station and ECS Ed Edelman Mon, 4 Oct 1999 20:40:49 -0700 |
Mon, 4 Oct 1999 20:40:49 -0700
Hi,
My name is Ed Edelman, and I wrote an application called Virtual Weather Station (VWS),
a powerful software program for most commercial weather stations.
One of your members (Don Stephens) was kind enough to write an ECS script to interface
to VWS. VWS can read directly from most commecial weather stations, or a comma separated
value (csv) file. Don wrote a script to convert data to a csv file that Virtual Weather
Station can read.
You can download VWS at http://www.ambientsw.com/Downloads.htm
You can obtain the script at ftp://ftp.ambientsw.com/ecs.doc
To use this script, select Communications | Communications from the menubar in VWS and
select the Stationless option. Next, browse to find the csv file created by the attached
script and you are off and running.
Regards,
Ed Edelman
