Don't go getting tense on me.....  You asked:  "Send me the offending line
in ECS.CFG."  I didn't think sending the line of code specifying a READ
state to be worth much without the item definition.

I have no idea where you got that idea (see the "Subject" of this and all
prior messages on this thread).  I did however, incorrectly identify this as
"HVAC-Interface-B" type item in the original message on 10/4/99....  My
apologies for the incorrect identification.
