Subject: From: Date: | New Bigmouth for Windows Reddy Biggs Sun, 16 Aug 1998 20:55:50 -0500 |
Hello everyone,
As you know I like my Bigmouth card. It's one of my oldest (1988) pieces of
hardware still running. I found the following on a Canadian web site for
BigMouth, which they call Powerline I.

"BIG-NEWS
July 6, 1998 - Although still in the development stages... Look for a new
Powerline I card - "Powerline I for Windows". This new card will have an
onboard processor, allowing full functionality under Windows 3.x, 95/98 and
NT. The Powerline I for Windows is expected to reach beta stages in a few
months. Watch here for details.
June 30, 1998 - Ever wanted to add Caller ID to BigmOuth? Well, now you can!
Don Hunter has just released the beta version of BIG-CID (BigmOuth Caller
ID). With the Caller ID module, your call routing possibilites with BigmOuth
are endless. Route calls based on callers location or number. Know who left
you a message, even if they hungup (MSGFCE and READMSG required). BIG-CID
will be released before the end of the summer, so watch here for more
details.
June 22, 1998 - The Powerline I and Powerline IV cards are now back in
production. Talking Technology, Inc., the former manufacturer of the
Powerline cards has gone out of business. However, the original designer of
these fantastic cards has brought it back to life. The demand for high
quality, low cost single and multi-line voice mail cards is higher then ever
before. "
