The only way you can do this is if you utilize a separate tuner for all
channels and have the TVs set to the same channel, then you would be
restricted to the same channel on all sets. The problem here is that the
overlay has to go on a line level video signal. You cannot overlay it onto
all channels. It would be great to do this but unfortunately it cannot be
done. If you find out let me know.
This is what I do. When a call comes in I change all TV's to my modulated
channel that shows the caller ID. Then after 20 seconds it sends the TV's
back to their original station using the "Last Channel" IR signal.
Hope this helps.
Kevin

Subject: [HOMEVIS] Overlaying HV data on whole house CTV
All,
I currently have my CTV split out to 3 TV's and one cable box. I would
like to set up HV-PC to overlay info like CID on all 4 sets.
I am using a simple 4 way splitter now and am not experiencing any loss
of picture quality. All of my hookups are w/ RG6 and std 'F' connectors. I
do not want to have a 'certain channel' for HV but rather overlay the info
onto the incoming video so that you don't have to keep changing channels.
Any ideas?
Tom
