Thanks for your letter Mark.
I down-loaded the ECS software yesterday. So far I haven't been able to get it to do
anything.
I am still using X10's CP290 as my controller and thought that I might try ECS primarily
for the IF THEN ELSE
features. I appreciate that it is a versatile piece of software but I should be able
to get it to turn on at least one lamp.
My questions are...Does Omnipotence actually recognize the CP20, if so How? (I gave
it the PLC- Interface -1A several times )
Why does person who has been using X10 since it was invented find it so incredibly difficult
to use the software called ECS?
By the way, the reason I am still using the CP290 is because I have been using the same
interface for 13 years and it works
evey time with out fail 365 day per year with no glitches. So my interest in the CPUXA
is zero.
Thank Seymour
