Mark, Just to let you know, the dimming problem was some sort of
interference that somehow only affected the CPUXA. Neither AppDig or myself
can figure out what is did.
Once it was resolved, Dimming with the 8.23 Version of the CPUXA works fine.
Is there a way to dim more smoothly? Not a big deal, just sometimes a bit
disconcerting.
I'm also tying in a Caller ID, the Call Editor RSA. Could you give me some
hints on the best way to detect a call has come in and Caller ID info
available. Should I just keep polling the RSA for info?
Other than that, Your software and the CPUXA has successfully replaced my
original Homebase unit for all current automation functions (and there were
quite a few, from Home Theater to Driveway sensors).
I should be getting the protocol info we talked about (price was $60) in 1
week. I'll forward it to you.
Should I use the statndard Omnipotence address?
Thanks for your help.
