Can't you buy a cheap device ($10 or so) that converts reg out to line level
out? I've seen them before but can't remember where. Maybe Radio Shack or
regular audio stores. I know they make them for vehicles, since many car
stereos are typically equipped with only speaker outs. I don't think
they're powered, so you could probably use one that is typically sold for
cars.
