I agree with Dave. I've repaired over 3,000 business programs with y2k bugs in the last couple years. There is a lot of nonsense floating around about y2k problems that have been fixed years ago. This Windows 2-digit date thing seems unbelievable to me that so many people just assume all 2-digit years will be incorrect without even trying them... in this case it really does only take a couple minutes to set your date & clock and try it... and then you will know for yourself that it will work... just like Microsoft says. Even though programs and databases have been made y2k compliant, it will still be the norm to display dates in the same 6-digit format we have been accustom to. As long as the date is stored correctly for math & sorting purposes, there is nothing wrong with continuing to show the year in 2-digit format.
