Hi,

One re-occurring thing I've noticed with SR
recognition on my machine is that it seems
to make a huge difference in response time
whether the hard drive is spinning or not.
The first command input may be delayed as
much as 5 sec. while the drive spins up to speed.
After that there is no delay.
Can, or is it even a good idea to force the drive to
always be spinning?
