Just as a byline, I have been running Windows95 with ECS at my house for about 4 months
without a reboot. I was under the impression that Windows itself would not run that
long without a reboot, but It has been. I would MAYBE entertain the idea of using a
ramdrive and copying ECS to it and running from there. What do ya'll think (Southern
Accent). I am saving my pennies for a Pentium right now, because I finally gave up
on using the TTS software with the 486. It just brokeup the output too much. I have
troubleshot this and troubleshot it, but I have resolved myself to a Pentium Motherboard.
I also want to rewire the towercase with better hookups for the i/o cards I'm using.
Our dog got pregnant, so this has setback the home automation for a few weeks, as my
wife decided to use the computer closet as the dog closet. They are almost ready to
be moved to the garage. Just thought some of you could identify with this.

I have run my old Zeos and Alton constantly for some
5 years each with no HD failure.
