Dialtone detection

Hi all,

I posted this question to the list a while back, but didn't receive any
responses. If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.

Is there any way to have ECS ignore dial tone detection before it dials a
number? I have voice mail with BellSouth as a backup to ECS phone
messaging, and would like to work around the "stutter" dialtone they place
on the line when new messages are in the mailbox. If I could temporarily
force a "*" command on the line before ECS attempts dialing an actual phone
number, the stutter dialtone goes away, and ECS could dial phone numbers
without running into the "No Dialtone" block.

Thanks,
Jerry
