it's possible that it was too late in the evening and i 'miswired' something.


mark - looks like i'm the little boy that cried wolf. wen home yesterday and the SR
group maximum was working correctly. i still never see the icon for the group 
max update to 'active', but an event that triggers from the group max becoming 'active'
is working correctly. sorry for all the fuss...
