Scott,
There is a program called Gotcha! that will do most of what you want. I'm
not sure about the command line interface or other means of controlling it.
This is software only, not the AI Gotcha hardware product you may have heard
of. It can be used to detect motion from the video source (no need for
motion detector) and then e-mail the picture to you. I've been meaning to
check it out in more detail, but haven't had the time. I think it's about
