Subject: From: Date: | A sad day for Home Automators David Mccoll Sat, 4 Dec 1999 16:29:29 -0800 |
Sat, 4 Dec 1999 16:29:29 -0800
It is a sad day for home automators. I will miss Mark Gilmore and all of the wonderful
support that he gave so freely. I wish Mark the best in his new endeavour and hope this
will be his best career choice. After 7 or 8 years of ECS'ing I have come to trust Mark's
product and I have always known what to expect. I am very dissapointed about the ECS
product being discontinued. I personally feel as though part of ECS albiet the DOS version,
is in my blood.
I hope that Mark will consider donating the code to the pubblic domain so that ECS can
live on. Each and every one of the ECS'ers has helped in many ways to develop and help
mould the product and it would be shame if it were to dissapear.
