On this Zoom modem subject, I got one of the 14.4 voice modems, and since installing
it, I have noticed it doesn't always work right. Sometimes it says that when calling
my paging company, the parity is wrong, but not always. Sometimes when calling the
pager, after it is done, it says that the modem did not respond to "ATH". And sometimes
it doesnt answer the phone.
I know I'm being general here, but it doesnt seem to follow an exact failure. If there
is a settings problem or if any of you have experienced this, let me know. Maybe I
sissed something in the modem setup itself. Otherwise I will troubleshoot further.
