Will the transfer option under Hyper Terminal which comes with all Windows
xx do the trick or are you looking for source code you can rework.

Does anyone know of a good/simple freeware/shareware
pgm that will transfer files from one PC to another
(via a modem connection) ?
My parents have a PC & modem (but no Internet).
