Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] Pan Tilt camera for ECS Scott Reston Sun, 12 Dec 1999 08:03:04 -0500 |
i'm using webcam32. i'm not quite able to do all of the things i've been thinking about,
but this is a pretty good piece of software for $25. in addition to doing the
standard save/upload files, it has an embedded java image-push applet, so i can view
a live feed from any of the other machines on my network.
i've got the camera trained on the front porch. the thing i like the most is that i
have ecs email me a snapshot of the porch based on motion sensor activity or in
response to a phone macro. i live near where i work, and now i can tell if i should
drop by the house at lunch and pick up packages dropped off by UPS...
