Frank,
I got it going. Thanks for your help. Would you believe it was skytel's
original problem. They shut my darn pager off because they received a
turned in pager with the same serial number.
All works fine now.

Here is what I see. My event checks for "pager-Setup is not sent-OK", and
if not sent-OK re sends the page in 3 mins. I don't get 100% of the pages.
placing call to pagecenter
waiting for ID prompt
waiting for logon acceptance
waiting for message request
sending message
waiting for acknowledgement
terminating session
terminating connection
page message sent OK
I am using Phone Intf C, the zoom 14.4 modem and ECS for Windows. This
also worked fine under DOS 3.3, 3.4. Pager is Skytell. Seems ECS is doing
a session with the Skytell Modem. When speaking to Mark years ago about
this he said he wasn't much into pagers. So I figured out the events by
trial and error.
