Carl,
You either have an Event resetting your colors or
they are set for backup=yes.
Regarding sound, I can only assume that there is something
wrong with your sound card, or that there is some kind
of driver mismatch. This is the 1st such complaint I
have heard on TTS. ANY OTHER IDEAS OUT THERE ?
