Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ECS] phone answer greeting played twice Kevin Keast Thu, 30 Dec 1999 09:42:39 -0500 |
Hi Dan,
I had this problem once when I was messing with customized greetings for
other callers. My problem (which may not be yours but worth a look) was my
logic said:
If CID-C is 8
Then phone:answer BLK set answer
Where 8 is a blocked CID call and "phone:answer BLK" is my blocked CID
message.
When called I noticed that the answer message kept playing and playing.
I changed line one to read:
"If CID-C is now 8" and all worked fine.
You may have something causing your "phone message" to be set to answer for
two ECS event passes. It may be worth a look.
Good Luck
Kevin

Subject: [ECS] phone answer greeting played twice
Is there any reason that my phone answer greeting recording of my voice
saying
"Hi, we are not here.... please leave message" should be played twice? I
have
not changed my settings on phone answers from dos and it worked fine there.
I
just re-recorded my message as a .wav .
thanks
dan
