Hi Don!
I checked, and all my dip switches are set the same. So, assuming you have
the thing wired correctly, and the station id parameter of your
PLC-interface-2C item set to 1, I'm not sure what else to check. What
happens when you hit F5? Do you get the "not responding" error?
You're sure the port works right?
Cheers!

Subject: [ECS] Micro Redac Questions
I'm trying to incorporate my old Applied Digital Micro Redac that I used on
my ECSD machine into a
new ECS system using a HomeVision as the PLC-Interface. When I redefine the
Micro Redac as station 1
the communication light stops flashing and I can't read any of the analog
sensors. There are 7 dip switches inside the unit but I'm clueless if they
need to be reset if ECS isn't going to use the Micro Redac as the
PLC-Interface. Someone was using multiple Redac's so perhaps he could shed
some light on this.
Also if anyone has the RJ-12 pinouts for the serial connector, I'd be
eternally thankful.
Don
