Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] VGA->NTSC rec ? Scott Reston Wed, 05 Jan 2000 18:46:00 -0500 |
mark - i've got one system that i leave connected to the TV full-time. i use a video
card that i got for about $40 or so... it has VGA, RCA and S-Video outs and
works great. one of the side-efffects of leaving a machine attached to the TV is that
when i'm running winamp, i can get a full-screen TV view of their
visualization outputs...
the card's not as fancy as some of the other TV-output cards, but id does the trick.
i haven't had too great an experience with VGA->NTSC because of the
differing aspect ratios. the TV-OUT video card seems to take care of this.
i work for a software/hardware retailler, so i might be able to get you a deal on it...
