RE: [ECS] VGA->NTSC rec ?

Hey, Mark.

S-Video keeps the chrominance and luminance components of the video signal
separate, so you get a higher-quality image with it. Your VCR, most likely,
has an RCA plug on it for video output. That would be Composite (combined
chrominance and luminance), and is a lower quality image. NTSC (which many
of us say stands for "Never The Same Color") is the format of the image
transmission, 60 fields per second, 525 interlaced scan lines.

Go for S-Video if your TV accepts it.

Hi Scott,
I assume you have the JATON VIDEO-77 3D/TV ?
Dum question: Is S-VIDEO like a VCR input, and NTSC like a coax ?
I would be using the video-input on my 27" Sony.
What is your TV's screen size ?
Does it display ECS screens satisfactorily ?
Do you guys sell it ?
If so, how much ?
Tanx
