Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] Unsupported TVL listings Bill Walters Sun, 9 Jan 2000 23:58:26 -0600 |
Mark,
I'll apologize for "butting in" in this thread, but since I've started
fiddling with the same thing here, thought my question to you should go
here.
Problem: Channels in TX42822.CHN file not marked with "*" still showing up
in output
Here's what I've done so far:
1. Found my "lineup" for AT&T cable to be TX42822.
2. I constructed a TX42822.CHN file and prefaced the channels I want to
track with a "*" as required
However, I still keep getting unwanted channels in my final output. I'm
thinking TVL1 may want a certain amount of space or spaces, between the
channel number and the station ID. I started out with 2 spaces and just
went back, substituing a TAB. Nothing seems to work..
What is the spacing requirement, or is there one, or since TX42822 lists
both 2 and 3 digit channel numbers (it is for digital cable tv) is there
another problem?
I can send you the TX42822.chn file I constructed if needed/wanted.
BTW, the filtering works perfectly with TZ-C file included with ECS, so I'm
fairly sure the event stuff is working ok......
Suggestions of which way to start working?
Bill Walters
