Subject: From: Date: | [ECS] Reboot W98 w/ECS 4.2 -Reply Brad Chamberlain Fri, 14 Jan 2000 08:36:53 -0500 |
How about having ACE pass an (alt F4) back to ECS to shut it down via
the ACE api sendkeys before you shut down Windows..

Mark,
Any thoughts on how to get a 'scheduled' reboot of W98 system under
ECS
4.2.xx???
If I set ACE-WS (will restart any W95/W98 system) to execute at a
specific
time within ECS, it (ACE-WS) "hangs" at the ...shutting down w98.....
splashscreen. I suspect that it's trying unsuccessfully to close ECS.
My system runs: ECS 4.2.007 (with TVL event running), ACE-Server,
Sygate,
and VNC Server.... one by one, I removed programs and executed
ACE-WS; it
'hangs' if ECS is running, works ok if any other (or all other) programs
are
running.
