OK, found an answer!!!
From a web page entitled: Windows 98 Annoyances - Restart Windows without
Restarting your Computer
http://www.annoyances.org/cgi-bin/ce-showtopic/005_0033
1. Create a BATCH file with one line in it: @EXIT
2. Right Click on the file, select PROPERTIES, click PROGRAM tab, and make
sure CLOSE ON EXIT is turned on.
3. Then click ADVANCED, make sure MS-DOS MODE is selected and WARN BEFORE
ENTERING MS-DOS MODE is turne off.
4. Click OK twice and you're all set.
Just tried it on my W98 laptop and it worked just fine.... Off to set up the
same thingie on the ECS machine and will let you know what I find.
Bill
