Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] Phone PB "skip" ? Bill Walters Mon, 17 Jan 2000 19:16:56 -0600 |
Mark,
I have something like that happening now, but attribute it to disk read
stuff....
My phone-answer message is a recorded file. When ECS answers, it plays it
back but "skips" one word, just about in the middle of the recording... The
recording goes something like this: Hi, sorry we're not here to take your
call. Please leave your name, telephone number and a message, we'll get
back to you as soon as we can.
What plays back is usually: "Hi sorry we're not here to take your call.
Please leave your naone number and a message, we'll get back to you as soon
as we can."
I attribute that problem to one of disk access. I never had the problem
using ram disk and will probably go back and see how to set that up when
other things are taken care of..
On a related matter - my phone greeting (see above) plays once, pause, plays
again, pause, beep.......
No one has said anything about it, but it is a little annoying to have the
greeting play twice.
Any suggestions??
Bill
