Bill,
This sounds just like Joe's problem.
Do you have a COMSTAR ?
When and how often does it skip ?
NO sound should ever be skipped, regardless of disk
access or CPU contention (the worst that should happen
is a pause). Please re-create (hopefully by simply
setting a TEXT Item to SPEAK->PC) with debug=1
and email me ELG.TMP. tanx

Regarding ther double-PB:
I assume that you do NOT have a PHONE-BOX set for box #0 ?
