Hi all,
This new BETA has just been uploaded:

	4.2.009 (01/19/00)

   192)	Corrected problem with KEYBOARD-EVENT recognizing class names.

* 193)	Corrected mistake in the TV-GUIDE and TV-LISTINGS Events
(see #194 below before making this change):

	THIS:
	|	; If user enters A, S, or V, append to TVLFAV.TXT:
	|	BEGINIF	Character-A Is A
	|	Or	Character-A Is a
	|	Or	Character-A Is S
	|	Or	Character-A Is s
	|	Or	Character-A Is V
	|	Or	Character-A Is v

	SHOULD BE THIS:
	|	; If user enters A, V, or R, append to TVLFAV.TXT:
	|	BEGINIF	Character-A Is A
	|	Or	Character-A Is a
	|	Or	Character-A Is V
	|	Or	Character-A Is v
	|	Or	Character-A Is R
	|	Or	Character-A Is r

* 194)	Added support for a TVL "F" code, so as to mark shows as
favorites
in the TV-Guide Window withOUT announcing them. To support this
feature, copy the TV-GUIDE/TV-LISTINGS Events and the
"TVL6 FAVORITE MSG" Item from EXAMPLE.CFG to ECS.CFG.

   195)	Corrected problem whereby lower-case characters could not be
specified as a State for CHARACTER Items in the Event-Editor.

*  196)	ECS.HTM/EXAMPLE.CFG now document/use the RADMIN shareware ($25
reg)
to access the ECS PC via the internet, as it appears to be much
faster and easier to use than the VNC freeware.
	To support RADMIN in ECS.CFG:
	     1)	Replace all VNC/WINVNC Items with the R_SERVER Items in
		EXAMPLE.CFG.
	     2)	Replace the WINVNC Event with the R_SERVER Event in
		EXAMPLE.CFG.
	     3)	Customize the POSTIE command in R_SERVER0.BAT as you did
with the similar command in WINVNC0.BAT.

* 197)	SERIAL-BYTE and I/O-PORT-BYTE Items are now read when referenced
(instead of at the start of each Event-Pass).

   198)	TVL setup/usage instructions have been moved from EXAMPLE.CFG
	to ECS.HTM (see "TV SHOWS").

   198)	The TV-GUIDE window now displays the codes (F/A/V/R) of
favorites
the leftmost column (as read from TVLFAV.TXT).

*  199)	In EXAMPLE.CFG, I have increased the TV-GUIDE "look-ahead" from
2 hours to 12 hours. If you wish to do so, set your TVL4.EXE
	Item's Text-Line as follows (12 hours = 720 minutes):
		TVL4 TVL.TXT TVLFAV.TXT 720 TV-Guide.TXT
Note that this change will significantly increase the time it
	takes to run TVL4.EXE.

* 200)	To mark/announce/view/record TV shows ONE TIME ONLY, you may now
enter the same codes keys with <Shift> (<Shift-F>/<Shift-A</<Shift-V>/
<Shift-R>). To incorporate this enhancement, replace your TV-GUIDE/
TV-LISTING Events with those in EXAMPLE.CFG.

   201)	Fixed a bug which would occur if you created an Item and then
deleted it (or deleted the LAST Item in the cfg).

* 202)	For CBAND/TVL users: I modified the following Events in
EXAMPLE.CFG,
so that they use the PARSED sat & transponder when applicable.
Otherwise (if the CBAND CHAN is set via the user or a non-TVL
Event), the sat/transponder are calculated from the State of
	the CBAND CHAN Item.
		TVR
		TV-Guide
		TV-Listings
		CBand Chan Monitor
		CBand Chan Set

*  203)	FREE-MEMORY has been renamed to FREE-PHYSICAL-MEM.

   204)	A new Type (FREE-VIRTUAL-MEM) now denotes free virtual memory
	(which can included disk space).

   205)	Corrected a problem whereby the "wrong" window could sometimes
be restored after executing another program (with WAIT).
For example, if you deleted a line in the TV-GUIDE window
(triggering the execution of TVL5.EXE), then the Group window
	could be displayed afterwards.

   206)	Corrected bug which could cause a crash on startup if a FILE
Item had an Initial State of OPEN.
