Group-Maximum and Group-Minimum Problem with ecs 4.2.009?

Hi Mark!

Did you change the way Sub-Types work with the Group-Maximum and
Group-Minimum items in the latest release? I ask because these items no
longer work as before. Here's an example:

I have a group called "Security Away Sensors". In that group, I have all
the items I need to monitor for a Security Violation. The items being
monitored are digital inputs and various other items. The Digital inputs,
as you know have states of High/Low. The other items have states like
yes/no, on/off, true/false, open/closed, etc. So, basically, I have a group
with a bunch of items, each having a state-value of 0 or 1.

Now, in that group, I have a Group-Maximum item, with a sub-type of
true/false. I test this item in my security event to see if anything has
been violated.

The problem is this: The state of a group-maximum (or group-minimum)item is
now only affected by items whose states match that of the sub-type of the
group-maximum item. In other words, in my security group mentioned above,
only an item with a true/false state has any effect on my group-maximum item
(which has a sub-type of true/false).

Did that make sense? :)

Let me know if you need any more info, examples, etc.

Cheers!
