Hi Joe,
BTW, I agree that the NAPCO stuff IS complicated :-).
ECS (per the NAPCO protocol) allows you to set a
given "area" to any of the following:
Arm
Burglar
Aux
Fire
Reset
I don't know exactly what these states mean
(I assume you do), but you would monitor/control
an area via a SECURITY-AREA-C Item(s).
Regarding the motion detection, I can only suggest
the "empirical approach":
1) Create an Event like the one below.
2) Trigger motion.
3) The RTS status triggered by the motion should
then be displayed/logged. You will then know
what State to look for in your Event.
|Event: RTS Monitor Called ?:No
| If Security-RTS-C Is Not Idle
| Then Text-A T1<-N/S Security-RTS-C
| Then Text-A Set Log
| End
