Since I use DUN, isn't possible that the main machine will be assigned a
different IP address by my ISP sometime in the future? Am I going to be up a
creek then?

david - when i set up new machines on my network to 'participate' in the
dialup sharing i've got set up, i just configure the new machine so that
it's gateway
and the nameserver are both set to the 'server' machine. i wouldn't mess
around with DHCP unless you've already got the 'server' machine set up to be
a
dhcp server. it's easier to just decide on IP addresses for each of your
machine. use IPs in the range of 192.168.0.XXX so that you won't have any
conflicts
when connecting to the web. this address range is non-routable...
