Michael,

     Thanks for the help. Once I knew you were not having any problems, I was
sure it was something I should be able to sort out. I did look again at each
of the icon "properties" which defines the shortcut "targets" and parameters.
Still everything looks as if it should work. Yes I do have a second
Omnipotence program group in the "Start Menu". It's interesting, it has a
shortcut back to the "Desktop".
     I had tried the start menu several times yesterday with the same results
but, when I tried it a few minutes ago, believe it or not, they both worked
perfectly. I would have preferred to find the problem or to find out I was
doing something wrong. As it stands now I just don't know. Hopefully it's gone
forever.
