Subject: From: Date: | ECS, Ocelot/SECU16 help needed Jeff Lacey Sat, 29 Jan 2000 18:51:21 -0600 |

Hey folks,
I'm working on an event to control my 4-zone sprinkler system using a SECU16
to provide the relay closure to the valves. The event works fine. For
example:
- Relay zone-4 closed.
- timer expires, relay zone-4 open, relay zone-3 closed
- timer expires, relay zone-3 open, relay zone-2 closed
- ...
However, it seems that a contact closure on a SECU16 input causes the
previously-energized relay to momentarily close then open immediately after
the contact closure. If I run this test back to back, relay 1 momentarily
closes then opens during zone-4. I've attached the debug log (ELG.TMP).
I've tried using different relays as well as a second SECU16, but the
problem remains the same.
Has anyone else seen this behavior and/or corrected it? Is there some sort
of caching going on here that I need to flush out?
Thanks,
Jeff Lacey
