Mark,

Here's a good link to start with:
http://www.goahead.com/webserver/webserver.htm This is site that offers
source code for an embedded web server for multiple platforms:

Here's a blurb from the page:

Welcome to the GoAhead WebServer™ site. This site is meant to be a
development resource center, providing all the information necessary to
leverage the free GoAhead WebServer source code in your device. The GoAhead
WebServer source code is being made available to all device developers to
speed the realization of our vision of an embedded web server in every
device.

Our goal in releasing the GoAhead WebServer source code is to initiate and
foster an environment enabling the development of the most widely used
embedded web server on the planet.

The GoAhead WebServer development community has contributed greatly to the
evolution of the source code of this embedded Web server. Developers from
all over the world have downloaded, evaluated, and made improvements that
have made GoAhead WebServer one of the top embedded Web servers on the
market.

Per helpful inputs from SCOTT/MARTIN/KENT, I am strongly
leaning towards making ECS a web server.

I have already added test code in ECS to generate a
web page listing all Items and State-dropdowns for each
(generating any required web pages will be trivial).

Any thoughts on how to best make ECS a web server ?
MS VC++ has support for this, but I would like to find
a system-independent solution (if possible).

I don't mind AT ALL if you call today (collect).

Thanks,
