Subject: From: Date: | Multiple devices of the same functionality Kent Noonan Mon, 31 Jan 2000 16:22:11 -0600 |
How does ECS handle multiple devices that perform the sme
functionality???
I currently have a JDS Timecommander that I was displeased with
scripting wise, so now I have ECS.. In searching for a good IR
device I have decided that the ocelot is probably going to be what I
go with when the funds become avaliable..
The timecommander is going to stay (and maybe grow) for the
purpose of inputs/outputs. I can't define the timecommander I/O
without defining PLC-Interface-2g. I am assuming when I get the
ocelot it will be the same way.. I would need to define PLC-
Interface-2k so that I can define IR-Signal-k.. If so, when that
happens will it cause conflicts?? Which one will actually be used
as the PCL interface?? Can I tell ECS which one to use?? or am I
missing something else here???
